Everything about who I am is dedicated to the promotion of the voices of underrepresented and marginalized groups. As an educator, I have developed a student-centered vision focused on innovative teaching, mentoring and advising across a wide cross-section of disciplines. I have developed service and research philosophies that complement my teaching, and seek to remove barriers between higher education and the local and global communities from which our knowledge is derived.
